Shop update

UPDATED MAR 19th:

Hi PRW community, tough times ahead for all, but we can do this with some modifications to our behaviour and attitudes. Lots has already been said on social distancing and hygiene by individuals and businesses so you all should know how to wash your hands properly! So, let’s jump ahead to what I am doing with the shop. I have decided to go to appointment only at this time. We will keep reduced appointment hours of Tues.-Fri 12-6 and Sat. 10-5 for now and follow any recommendations from Health Canada and Alberta’s chief medical officer. So please call or email ahead of time as the door is locked.

Being a small shop, exposure is limited as we don’t get big crowds but it is important to me to protect your family and mine. Keeping that in mind, if you have travelled outside of Canada please self isolate and don’t come into the shop. Same goes if you don’t feel well or somebody in your family. Also, I know the shop is a great place to hang out but lets limit this for now and come in with a purpose. I am down to limited staff which basically leaves me at the shop by myself, just like it was like in the old days on 109th. I run a pretty clean shop and its even cleaner now! All high touch surfaces are disinfected daily including any bikes we service.

All new bike fits and service will be by appointment only. This allows me to provide the best service and also limits exposure. I will do my best to accommodate even if it means coming in on Sunday or Monday. Priority for service is for bikes purchased from PRW. I will do my best to service your non-PRW bike but you may face longer wait times. I will be coming in before we “open” and on closed days to service and build bikes, so hoping to keep delays to a minimum. Please remember we do not do drop in service, all service is by appointment only. We do our best to turn around tunes in 24-48 hrs.Thus far we are on schedule and shop work is running on time.

We are fully stocked with clothes, parts and accessories. If you don’t feel like coming in please email, call or message the shop with a wish list or any inquires. If you don’t feel comfortable picking up your new bike or serviced bike I will personally deliver it (I will wear gloves and a mask for added comfort !) If you are in desperate need of a new trainer or some kit to get you through the next few weeks of Zwitervals I can deliver it off as well. I may charge bake goods for a delivery fee though…I respond to all platforms within 24 hrs. You can even prepay over the phone or by Etransfer and I can have it all bagged and waiting for you, you don’t even need to come in, I will walk it out to your car. There are some delays from manufactures but special orders are not a problem and I can give pretty accurate lead times. We have had amazing support from all the PRW family and it really warms my heart to know the community we have behind the shop.

Thank you for all the support over the last 20 yrs and lets work together to stay safe but still enjoy our bikes!
