The upcoming Bridge Bike Works Surveyor road bike will be the first model from the upstart brand, and I am super excited to stock these made in Canada frames. Built from the ground up in Toronto, Canada, Bridge’s all-new factory will produce the frame and fork in house. And, they’ve assembled an amazing team of Engineers and designers from brands like Cervelo, Lotus, and more. Yes you read that right, made in Canada Carbon frames.

The facility that is being set up in Ontario is state of the art composites manufacturing. This means all frames will be made and painted there, no farming out of tooling or manufacturing. Everything done in house where it can be carefully controlled and checked.I had a chance to spend the day at the Toronto facility with Mike and his team and the set up is amazing. The team he has assembled for this brand is some of the most knowledgeable composite engineers and designers, a wealth of experience in the bike biz.

We met Guri in person at NAHBS several years back and hit it off right away. His infectious passion and commitment to build bikes with an attention to detail down to the smallest detail blew us away. PRW understands fit, technology, and just as importantly, caring about the little things. BRIDGE has a similar philosophy: to engineer and build the absolute finest bikes on the planet, all entirely handmade in Toronto. We’re excited to bring back Canadian road bike manufacturing and can’t wait to share what’s next.”

The launch Edition frame is the Surveyor. An All Road machine. Designed to optimize 28-38 mm tires. Think of it as a Road Bike that has clearance for the most popular size of gravel tire in our market. To me this is the ideal bike for so many of my clients, a Gravel bike with Road geometry. It’s not the full adventure style Gravel bike but a true Groad machine, fast and fun.

We have received some of the first 50 Founder’s frames coming out. Custom paint will be an option down the road but with some of the amazing paint options that Mike and his team have come up with you would be hard press not to love one of the stock colours.

Please contact us for more info and to place your order. Lead times will be 6-12 months initially so to get in the queue we require a 50% deposit at the time of ordering.
