Mention the name Ridley to anyone who saviors the Northern Classics and you will see their eyes light up , as their mind drifts to the thoughts of Jupiler, frites and cobbles. Jochim Aerts started Ridley (named after Ridley Scott his favorite director) in 1990 as a Belgium frame builder and painter for many brands out of Belgium. In 1997 he branched out on his own and started sponsoring amateur and pro teams through out Flanders. In 2005 when the Pro Tour was launched Ridley partnered with Lotto and the rise of the brand was triggered. Already huge in the Cross crazed nation , the Belgium road market was now on their radar. Lotto, Katusha, Sun Web, Fidea and now Vacansoleil the latest Pro Tour team for 2011, Ridley continues it's support of Pro racing.

When it comes to Cross they are so far ahead of any other company that their name as become synonymous with CX in Europe and Canada. Most brands slap some canti mounts on a road frame and call it a cross bike, which is fine for commuters not racers. The geometry of the Ridley CX bikes is totally unique and at a first glance to the uneducated eye even bizarre. Once properly sized and fitted and used in the setting it was designed for, Cross racing, it all makes sense.

Another area where they are leading the way is aero framesets such as the Noah and Dean. The use of Jet Foil technology and R - Flow paint have led to one of the most advanced series of frames available today. This dedication to Aero road and TT frames has led them to establish their own wind tunnel in the brand new factory this year in Flanders

So why are we Canada's largest Ridley dealer ? Well we have been with the brand for a decade, longer than anyone else in Canada. The geometry designed for Belgium's cobbles also works great for Alberta roads and racing, windy, flat gutter racing on bad roads. Amazing durability in paint and material, sure some other frames are 800 grams but will they last a season on our roads ? Lastly the company simply is amazing to deal with. The support Ridley offers a small shop like ours is amazing, from custom painted frames to dinner with Katusha.

Ridley offers a full choice of frames that include, road, cross, time trial and track. We assemble and spec all builds in house, allowing you a truly unique machine. If you are after something even more original we offer our own custom paint job on the Noah RS, Dean RS, X Fire, Damocles and Orion. Each year we change the design so you are ensured something truly unique and limited.

Any bike can be purchased as a frame only and like always, we can help you build your dream bike to any spec. We can also substitute any part on our bikes to suit your needs and budget. All bikes include a comprehensive sizing and fitting. Check out the full range from Ridley.
