From the days of Cipo winning countless sprints to the current riders of Liquigas, Cannondale has been making bikes for the pro's for a long time.  They are pioneers in aluminum, oversized head tubes and the BB30 which is being adopted all over the industry. From the first CAAD frames to the Super Six Hi Mod, these are race frames designed to take a beating. Headquartered in Bethel, Connecticut, Cannondale designs and develops bicycles in Bedford, Pennsylvania. The company operates subsidiaries in Holland, Switzerland, Japan, and Australia, and is owned by the Canadian company Dorel.

To further their commitment to Pro Tour racing , Liquigas will be called Liguigas-Cannondale. This reflects Cannondale's increased support and sponsorship of Basso and the whole team. This along with overall wins in the 2010 Giro and Vuelta, shows that Cannondale is committed to pro racing.

When it comes to cross Cannondale is no slouch either. Refined North American geometry, bomb proof Alloy and Carbon frames is what we love about Cannondale CX bikes. Johnson ,Driscoll and Powers have all been dominating the North American CX scene on board the new Super X frame, the first carbon CX frame for Cannondale. Johnson goal is the CX Worlds in Kentucky in 2 yrs, which will be on board a Cannondale.

Another great feature of Cannondale is they are not driven by trends, or what other companies do. Proof is that they still develop one of the best Alloy Road frames on the market, the CAAD 10. In my opinion the best race bike for the dollar.Don't get me wrong, I love carbon but believe Aluminum still has a place. I would take a $ 2000 CAAD 10 over a $ 2000 carbon bike any day. Most manufactures won't make Aluminum bikes anymore because it is easier and cheaper to make carbon. Shops sell carbon bikes because it is the current trend and it is easy to sell, the industry and media do it for them. All you need to know is cheap carbon bikes are exactly that, education is key.

We can substitute any part on our bikes to suit your needs and budget. All bikes include a comprehensive sizing and fitting appointment. Check out the full Cannondale range.
